Premium beer brand Heineken has launched the 500 ML Heineken bottle into the Kenyan market for retail in bars and other outlets.
Heineken launched the beer as part of it new innovation themed Larger Than Life which aims to appeal to a wider range of beer lovers and initiate them to the premium beer category. According to Heineken East Africa General Manager Uche Unigwe, Heineken had conducted research amongst Kenyan beer consumers, receiving positive feedback regarding the launch of the 500ML bottle. He is confident that it will be able to take on other premium brands of the same quantity.
This follows the recent launch of Kenya Breweries Limited’s Tusker Malt Lager new look which was also accompanied by the launch of a campaign dubbed “The Taste of Legends”. Beer wars are upon us, brethren, get out your mugs and beer pong hats.
