Lumia 430

 

Microsoft recently announced the launch of the Lumia 430 Dual SIM, which is the most affordable Lumia so far. It is estimated that its retail price will be at $70 (Ksh. 6,300). The 430 joins other Lumia smartphones like the Lumia 435 and the recently announced Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL in the entry level segment.

It will run on Windows Phone 8.1 and come with a 1.2GHz dual core processor and will come pre-loaded with Microsoft goodies such as Office, Skype and OneDrive pre-loaded. It is also important to note that the OS will be upgradable to Windows 10.2 once it is available later this year. The Lumia 430, which is a Dual SIM, also comes with a 4-inch WVGA screen and will be be available in two colors: bright orange and black.

The Lumia 430 Dual SIM will begin rolling out in select markets in the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus starting in April 2015, and in India toward the end of April 2015. Pricing for Lumia 430 is $70.1 (Ksh. 6,300).
