Popular Afro-fusion band Freshly Ground are set to rock Nairobi alongside Neema and Dela for the Koroga Festival. The Koroga Festival is a bi-monthly music and arts festival, which is set to take place on Sunday, April 13th 2014.

The festival derives its name form the Swahili word meaning “mix”. It does justice to it’s name by providing a chance for local talent to mix together and bring a great experience to festival goers.

Sundays are all about relaxing and spending time as a family. The Koroga Festival provides this and so much more. Fashion, food, art and good music are also thrown into the mix to provide an afternoon to remember. All this is done with the beautiful Arboretum Gardens providing a backdrop for the day.

Capital FM Mix Masters DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Andre and DJ Adrian will also be on hand to provide entertainment.

“We [Capital FM] aim to bring people together through fashion, food, art and music,” Somoina Kimojino, Programs Director of Capital FM shared. “Bottom line, we just want to have a good time and celebrate diversity!”

Tickets are KSh 1,500 and can be purchased at Ticketsasa, Capital FM offices or at the gate.
