Men-Spend-43-Minutes-a-Day-Staring-at-Women-2

There is probably a medical reason that psychiatrists use to explain the habit of men turning every time something in a skirt that looks good passes by. While having a conversation with a groom-elect, yet to be officially crowned, we delved into this. The interesting part of this is that his fiancée was around, getting uncomfortable by the minute and by the time we parted ways I was quite unsure as to whether the wedding was still on.

What is it that makes men just check out the woman passing by even when with a hot partner/spouse? My friend describes it as a ‘phenomenon’ and uses the matatu as a perfect case study. Observe how heads turn when a good-looking lady passes by the matatu. It is hilarious as the reactions are almost involuntary. Here is how different men handle these situations.

The first category has dudes who being principled, turn and upon having caught a glimpse and realized their mistake immediately shift focus in almost dramatic function. They are the ones who believe that the heart ensnared by the second glance.

There is the second category that, due to the company they have at the moment, will raise the issue as a societal matter that needs discussing. The issue here is not the discussion but the fishy motivations which sometimes is to watch, unfettered and unjudged. The assumption here is that the watcher is passing fair comment on a matter important to society.

The third group is the extreme kind. The ones who find themselves on university way while their intention was to meet someone at Bus Station. This group that is generally considered as perverts need help since they pose a great risk to themselves.

Whichever category you fall in,remember that a great man once said, ‘It is not what we do, but why. Therein lies true change.’
