Pepsi Beverages Kenya and Skyward Airlines have announced a new partnership that will make Pepsi the exclusive beverage provider on all Skyward flights. This deal gives Pepsi a presence on an average of 547 flights and with 26,010 passengers per month, expanding its reach into the travel and aviation sector.

According to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, domestic air travel in Kenya reached 5.32 million passengers in 2024, highlighting a significant market opportunity. Research shows that passengers value having a variety of refreshments available, prioritizing hydration, energy, and taste during their flights. The partnership will offer a wide range of Pepsi products, including Pepsi, Mirinda, Mountain Dew, 7UP, Evervess, Sting, and Aquafina.

This collaboration covers all 11 of Skyward Airlines’ routes, including popular destinations like Nairobi-Mombasa, Nairobi-Lamu, and Nairobi-Malindi, as well as the international route to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

John K’Otieno, SBC’s Country Manager, stated, “This deal puts Pepsi into 26,000 journeys every month. We’re meeting Kenyans in the moments that matter, when they travel, connect, and experience life on the move.” He added that the partnership reflects a shared vision of growth and innovation between the two companies.

Skyward Airlines General Manager Diana Nyambura expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “This partnership enhances our in-flight service and reflects our dedication to providing added value to our passengers while also supporting our growth strategy in the regional aviation market.”
