Kenya Airways (KQ) has signed a partnership agreement with US budget airline JetBlue Airways which will connect passengers to various cities in the country.
Under the agreement, Kenya Airways customers flying to New York will be able to connect with JetBlue flights to several cities in the US and North America region, including Minneapolis, Boston, Vancouver, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Palm Beach, Cancun, and San Juan, among others. In addition JetBlue passengers will be able to book tickets to Kenya Airways home city of Nairobi or to various destinations that the airline flies to.
“We are constantly looking for new ways and partnerships that will offer our customers more choice and value. Kenya Airways customers flying to New York will now be able to connect with JetBlue-operated flights to Minneapolis, Boston, Vancouver, Cancun, and San Juan, among others. The partnership will also allow JetBlue passengers to book a through ticket to Nairobi and enjoy seamless connections to the rest of KQ’s destinations.” said Kenya Airways Chief Commercial and Customer Officer, Julius Thairu.
To book tickets, customers can purchase their tickets via the Kenya Airways website, KQ Mobile App, as well as their preferred travel agent.
Kenya Airways launched direct flights to the US in 2018 with the inaugural flight being on 28th October 2018. The airline flies to New York’s John F Kennedy International (JFK).
In 2019, Kenya Airways has entered into a similar arrangement with Delta Airlines to enable its customers to enjoy greater connectivity and efficiency in 11 US cities and 4 Canadian cities.
