Jamaican dancehall artist Etana is set to jet into the country on the 27th October, 2021 ahead of her concert dubbed Pamoja at the Waterfront, Ngong Racecourse Nairobi on 30th October.

The Pamoja Festival is sponsored by The Kulture, and will feature local acts including Wyre, Gravitti Band, Double Trouble, DJ Mash Kenya, Kriss Darlin, DJ Moh, DJ Vybrant Mc Phillipo among others.

Earlier in June this year, Etana released her album featuring various artists from Africa including Wyre the Love Child, Naiboi and Michael Bundi, Mandy from Tanzania, Wezi from Zambia and Ghana’s Stonebwoy. Other artistes featured in the album are Jamaican dancehall king Vybz Kartel and Yahsha.

The album also features her cover version of Fadhili Williams classic song Malaika.

Tickets can be purchased from www.mtickets.com or via the USSD code *229*40#. Advance tickets go for Ksh. 2,000 regular, VIP Ksh. 5,000 and Golden Circle Ksh. 10,000. Tickets at the gate will be Regular Ksh. 3,000, VIP Ksh. 7,000 and Golden Circle Ksh. 12,000.

“We are super excited to bring Etana to Kenya after a long hiatus in the entertainment industry due to Covid-19, with all the MOH guidelines in place, the health and security of the fans is well taken care of, Etana Will do club appearances, have a meet and greet in Nairobi ahead of her anticipated performance on October 30th 2021,” the Pamoja concert organizers stated.

Commenting on her return to Kenya, an elated Etana had this to say, “I am so ready for Nairobi and can’t wait to see you all. Kenya is my second home and am glad to be coming home to see my people”.
