Country Roads Festival, in partnership with WhiteCap Lager, will head to Nanyuki for another fun filled country music and food extravaganza at the Nanyuki Sports Club. The event will be on Saturday 7th December from 12pm to Sunday 8th December 2019 at 5:00am.
The event will be hosted by media personality Jeff Koinange and comedian Prof Hammo. It will feature live music from legendary country music star Sir Elvis, Kareh B, and an appearance by celebrated musician Kidum aka Jean-Pierre Nimbona. Country Roads have also announced that there will be a surprise performance, by a yet to be named artist, in Nanyuki
The event will also include the WhiteCap Brunch, an initiative by WhiteCap Lager to promote the pairing of the premium alcoholic drink with Kenyan food. As usual, there will be a WhiteCap Volkswagen combi van complete with ice cold WhiteCap Lager and WhiteCap Lite selling at a discounted price of only Ksh. 200.
The food at WhiteCap Brunch will cost just Ksh. 600 and the menu will consist of familiar food items. They include; chicken biriyani, beef biriyani, ugali, chapati, viazi karai, samosa, mutura, choma sausage, and nyama choma. WhiteCap merchandise will also be on offer.
Tickets to Country Roads Nanyuki are Ksh. 2,000 in advance and Ksh. 2,500 at the gate. Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL), through its beer brand WhiteCap Lager, announced its sponsorship of the Country Roads Festival in September this year. Under the partnership, the two organizations hosted the first Country Roads Festival in Thika on Saturday 28th September at Thika Greens Golf Resort.
The WhiteCap Brunch events were launched by the beer brand last year. This year, the brunch events have been held at the Kenya International Polo Tournament, Country Roads Thika and at Enashipai Resort & Spa.
