Viva Global is set to host the Viva Global Wine Expo this Friday (4th October) and Saturday (5th October) at the Park Inn by Radisson, Westlands.

Viva Global, a leading wines & spirits importer & distributor, will kick of its first wine exhibition in Nairobi in a bid to tap into the fast growing retail trade network and hospitality sectors. The exhibition is expected to attract over 400 wine lovers and traders from across the region.

At the event, attendees will get to enjoy a wine tasting class and will also be able to taste wines from different parts of the world. They will also be a pair the wine with local cheese and chocolate.

Wine options will include a selection of Cabernet Sauvignon from different regions, Merlot and Shiraz from Australia, the popular Pinotage from South Africa. From the whites, there will be Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, along with a range of Rose wines. At the expo, there will be an exhibition of over 75 different types of wines that include award winning wines and fine wines like Bellingham, Boschendal, and Franschhoek Cellars from the popular DGB Winery in South Africa, Casillero del Diablo from Chile, the lovely Cloudy Bay from New Zealand and also the exclusive Penfolds range from Australia’s oldest winery.

Viva Global will also exhibit its own wine selection. Their wine portfolio includes wine from countries such as; Argentina, California, Australia and New Zealand. They are also planning to start importing wines from France and Italy very soon. The wine brands they distribute in Kenya include; Frontera, Cloudy Bay, Tall Horse, Beach House, Franchhoek Cellar, Don Mel Chol, Birds & Bees, Culemborg, and Bellingham.

The company treated media, influencers and partners to a wine tasting to launch the expo. The attendees were treated to a wine tasting.

  • Friday regular ticket – Ksh. 2,000
  • Friday VIP ticket – Ksh. 3,000
  • Saturday regular ticket – Ksh. 2,000
  • Saturday VIP ticket – Ksh. 3,000

The regular ticket will come with unlimited wines and the VIP will have unlimited wine plus a wine tasting class.
