Equity Group, Family Bank and the Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) are among Kenyan nominees in the African Banker Awards 2019.

Family Bank Remit has been nominated for the 2019 African Banker Awards for the Innovation in Banking category. Equity Group Kenya for the African Bank of the Year and Social Responsible Bank of the Year and KCB- Kenya for the Best Retail Bank in Africa, Social Responsible Bank of the Year and Innovation in Banking categories. Equity Group CEO has been nominated in the African Banker of the Year category.

The annual African Banker Awards rewards the best in Africa’s banking and finance sectors designed to recognize the reforms, rapid modernisation, consolidation, integration and expansion of Africa’s banking and financial system. The award ceremony will be held on 11th June 2019 in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.
