Kenyan logistics company Sendy has appointed Mr. Victor Mwangi as the Commercial Director to head its commercial activities in Africa.  Mr. Mwangi will be responsible for shaping Sendy’s market strategy and steer the company in an upward growth trajectory.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Mwangi worked at DHL Express as Head of Sales, East & Southern Africa overseeing 12 countries where he was responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s commercial strategy. He led his region to a double digit growth during his tenure. He also held Sales Development Manager East & Agent Countries and Station Manager, Mombasa within the same company. He’s a BCom Graduate, University of Nairobi, Diploma IT, City & Guilds UK, Certified international specialist in logistics Maverick UK and Certified International manager from NKD Learning UK. He is a non-executive Director of Power Communication and itss in various advisory boards cutting across different industries.

Making the announcement, Sendy Founder and CEO Mr. Meshack Alloys said that Mr. Mwangi’s addition to the company is a big move and part of Sendy’s overall strategy becoming the preferred logistics partner in Africa.

Victor has proven himself to be a highly flexible leader and brings over 10 years experience in Commercial Management, Logistics Management, Customer Service and Operations. Mr. Mwangi will be taking over Sendy’s commercial activities at a time when the company seeks to get more businesses to its platform in Kenya and other African countries in the coming months.
