Haltons Pharmacy founder Dr. Louis Somoni Machogu has been ordered by the High Court to pull down two controversial articles he put up on his Linkedin account. The two articles, adversely mentioned Haltons, P.E firm Fanisi Capital, Halton’s board members, and the CEO.
The court gave a temporary injuction against Dr. Machogu which bars him from ‘Discussing, debating, commenting on, condoning or moderating public debate on the two articles’ until the case is heard next month. The injunction was granted after a defamation suit was filed against Dr. Machogu on behalf of Fanisi Capital, Haltons Limited, Ayisi Makatiani and Mary Githiaka.
