US based Kenyan make-up artist and beauty vlogger, Ivy Kungu, has been selected as the new face of CoverGirl, a US cosmetics brand.

Ivy Kungu was one of the five recruits chosen for the Allure Incubator, which is a new reality web series by Allure Magazine; that sees beauty bloggers compete in various make-up challenges to emerge the overall winner and brand ambassador for CoverGirl Cosmetics.

Kungu is well known for her experimental eye make up looks, her signature being multi-colored polka dots which she uses to frame her eyes. Kungu’s foray into make-up began when she was 13 years old watching YouTube make up tutorials and recreating some of the styles for her every day look. It is in 2016 that she decided to take make-up artistry seriously, consequently becoming better and more experimental with it through practice.

Other recruits on the Allure Incubator include Rebekah Aladdin, Kenneth Senegal, Bethany Salmons and Thania Gonzalez.
