Perched up on the 4th floor of Ole Sereni hotel, the Eagles Steak House offers spectacular views of Nairobi National Park while giving you a fine dining experience like no other.

I attended the launch of their new Express Business lunch menu, which is an offering of Eagle’s signature steaks, meat cuts and fresh seafood cuisines. It was designed with the corporate guest in mind who, being pressed for time, would like to enjoy a quick gourmet meal while they soak in the views of the park below.

I had the opportunity to sample some of the steak and meat cuts and it is definitely a feast for nyama choma lovers. All the steaks are charcoal grilled which, as Ole Sereni General manager, Karl Hala, shared, stemmed from the desire to stick to the Kenyan way of roasting meat. I could tell that a great deal of care goes into the preparation of each meat as I sank my teeth into bite after bite of some of the best seasoned, moist and tender steak I’ve had in a long time.

There is a vegetarian option also for those who don’t eat meat, which makes sure that everyone is covered. The express business lunch costs Ksh. 2,000 for a two course meal and Ksh. 2,500 for a three course meal.
