If you’ve been paying attention on Twitter then you’ve noticed the hashtag #drawingwhileblack which showcases art from black artists all from all over the world. It was started by a Ghanian illustrator named Annabel and it wasn’t long before other artists jumped on the hashtag and rallied others to do the same and share their work. Kenyan artists weren’t left behind either and here some of the dope Kenyans on #drawingwhileblack

A writer, artist and illustrator, Minnie is obsessed with all things surrealism, erotica, the night sky, frogs and black women.

Jeffrey describes himself as a visual artist, illustrator and dream chaser.

Nyambura is an illustrator and an animator with a love for cartoons.
5. Sirnare
Sirnare has a penchant for drawing portraits and loves to travel.
6. Ed Wainaina
Ed is an artist and an illustrator.
7. Ndeithi Kariuki
Ndeithi loves to paint.
8. Cyprian Kharsh
Cyprian is a visual artist who likes using ink pens to draw.
