James Bond, aka Mr 007, has been iconic for as many years as we can remember with his awesome gadgets, beautiful women and of course one of the most famous lines “Shaken, not stirred”. In previous movies, the spy extraordinaire has been seen drinking Heineken and Smirnoff but this year James Bond gets a new drink for Spectre, the upcoming bond movie.

Belvedere, the luxury vodka brand owned by the LVMH Group, is partnering with the next movie in the James Bond franchise. They become the official vodka of the movie, which is due for cinematic release next November from Sony Pictures Entertainment.

According to their site

“Belvedere’s Spectre marketing campaign program will include a global advertising campaign and a wide range of promotion and activation rights around the film. The marketing campaign will be launched on February 2015, with a strong focus of efforts on premise establishments and retails stores across multiple countries. Belvedere is the vodka of choice for tastemakers who Know the Difference, echoing the award winning campaign promoting knowledgeable choices.”

The vodka is made from Dankowskie Rye and blended with own water from its own source in Poland, all key messages the brand hopes will hit home with lapsed drinkers as well as those new to the brand. It is hoped that making Belvedere Bond’s choice for a vodka martini will also encourage bartenders to push the product to their cocktail lists. ~Business Insider
Belvedere Vodka also produces a line of flavored vodka, which it describes as Macerations. These flavors are not charcoal filtered, and are filtered through cellulose particle filters prior to bottling. This is done with the intention of ensuring essential oils that carry fruit flavors and give mouth feel are retained. The Belvedere Maceration product line includes: Mango Passion, Lemon Tea, Bloody Mary, Pink Grapefruit, Black Raspberry, Orange, and Citrus.
