Diabetes, is a non-communicable disease, and is a threat to national development as it often results in long-standing complications that are costly to treat. Statistics for how many people live with diabetes is not accurate, most people are afraid to get help or make it public. The move by Ornage to provide testing kits in the home will go a long way in saving lives particularly for those scared of revealing they suffer from diabetes.
