Samsung has entered into a distribution partnership with Hotpoint Appliances Ltd. The partnership is geared towards increasing the accessibility of Samsung’s consumer electronics like televisions, refrigerators, sound systems, and washing machines.

We are glad that Hotpoint Appliances will help us achieve this,†said Robert Ngeru, Samsung’s Vice President for East and Central Africa.
Shailesh Kanani, Managing Director Hotpoint Appliances expressed delight in the new partnership saying that the addition of Samsung products in their portfolio would give their customers a selection of wide ranging premium products.
“Our customers expect us to source; supply and support top of the line products that meet their requirements. By having Samsung come on board, we are assured of meeting these expectations,†Mr. Kanani added.
In addition to the 47 outlets countrywide, Hotpoint Appliances have two state-of-the-art showrooms: Nairobi’s Sarit Centre Shopping Mall and Likoni, Mombasa, Mr. Kanani noted that the company has continually been shifting towards offering greener and more energy efficient products. “Samsung has been on the forefront in championing for eco-friendly and more energy efficient products. Having their products in our stores goes to emphasising on our commitment in going green.â€
