Kirk Franklin the American Gospel singer, songwriter and producer together with award winning American contemporary worship music group Maverick City Music will be performing on the 17th August at Uhuru Gardens as part of the Kingdom World Tour 2024.
The ‘Stomp’ hit maker whose story continues to inspire even the younger generation today, is credited with revolutionizing the appeal of gospel music in the 1990s. He created music that captivated young people, leading them to embrace the gospel genre in ways that departed from traditional sounds.
Maverick City Music ,the group that started in 2018, has continued to gain international repute due to some of their famous hit songs such as ‘ Promises’, ‘Man Of Your Word’ and ‘Jireh’ done in collaboration with Steven Furtick’s Elevation Worship.

While 67% of female are leading in terms of streaming Maverick City Music, with another 61% of female also leading in streaming Kirk Franklin Music.
