Bolt has announced the selection of the top 120 participants for its Accelerator Program in Kenya. The shortlisted applicants were selected following a rigorous evaluation process.
The shortlisted participants will undergo a comprehensive one-month online business training through the Bolt Academy in conjunction with Alison, an online training platform. This training will equip them with the necessary tools to seize future career opportunities.
The participants will also be trained in courses ranging from digital marketing to leadership skills, project management, customer relationship management, entrepreneurship, and communication skills. The program will culminate in the Business Pitch Day scheduled for July this year.
On Business Pitch Day, the top 20 business ideas will compete for seed funding of Ksh. 286,335 (€2000) each. The top ten business ideas will be selected to receive seed funding of Ksh. 286,335.70 (€2000) each, accompanied by ongoing mentoring support to nurture their ventures to fruition.
In collaboration with The Nest Innovation Technology Park, Bolt has reiterated its commitment to providing a supportive ecosystem for the participants. Leveraging a network of experienced mentors, Bolt will guide participants through every stage of their entrepreneurial journey.
