realme has announced that it has officially launched, realme GT Neo5, it’s first smartphone with a 240W fast charging feature, in mainland China. realme GT Neo5 also comes with a transparent RGB lighting system on the back.
Madhav Sheth, realme VP, President of realme International Business Group, also confirmed 240W fast charging will be introduced in global market soon, with realme’s next flagship for the global market, the realme GT 3.
realme GT Neo5 features three industry-first charging technology: 240W fast charging architecture, the industry’s first 12A custom charging cable, and the world’s first 240W dual GaN mini charger. realme GT Neo5 comes with with a 4600mAh 10C ultra thin electrode battery. It is also the first smartphone with 200W and above charging power to be certified by TÜV Rheinland regarding battery longevity. It offers more than 80% battery capacity after a 1600 charging cycle, double the industry standard. The certification also sees over 60 layers of safety protection to ensure a safe and healthy charging system.
realme GT Neo5 240W will be available in 16+256GB and 16GB+1TB versions and will be available in mainland China starting February 9, 2023.
