Infinix has announced that it has launched its new smartphone series, the Infinix HOT 12, in the Kenyan market. The new series is available for at Infinix retail stores cuntrywide and online on Xpark.
Infinix HOT 12 is available in 3 variants:
1. HOT 12 Play 128 GB+4 GB for Ksh. 18,499
2. HOT 12 Play 64 GB +4 GB for Ksh. 16,499
3. HOT 12 128 GB+4 GB going for Ksh. 19,999
The new phone was launched at the University of Nairobi during this years’ Tech Week. The event offered students an opportunity to showcase their innovative ideas through projects and exhibitions they are working on. Established in 2018, the event was attended by students from 20 universities. In partnership with Infinix the winners were awarded cash prizes of up to Ksh. 50,000 and brand new Hot 12 Play Series phones that were officially launched at the event.
The Infinix HOT 12 comes with a Helio G85 processor, a 6.82 inch 90Hz Pro-Level gaming screen that greats for gaming on the phone. It runs on Android 12 and XOS 10.6 operating systems. The RAM on the phone can be extended by up-to 5 GB using extended RAM on the phone. The phone also comes with a 8MP AI selfie camera, and a 13MP AI triple rear camera.
It comes with a large 5000mAh battery, an 18W fast charger and the Dar-link game optimization engine for all-day gaming. It supports Type-C interface18W supercharge with a 50% power up time of just 50 minutes. To improve battery quality, The Infinix HOT 12 is equipped with Infinix battery lasting technology, which improves the longevity by approximately 25%.
