Huawei has announced that they will launch the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 in the Kenyan market  later this month.

The new smartphone will come with an all-new Huawei Ultra Full View Display, a completely bezel-less design free of any notches, holes or a slider. it also has a 6.59 inch FHD+ Ultra Full View Display, is entirely just the display, no bezels or notches, creating a whole new viewing experience.

The smartphone also comes with an Auto Pop-up 16 Megapixels Selfie Camera. The camera pops up automatically out of the top of the phone once the camera is turned on and the selfie mode is selected. According to the company, the feature allows for roughly 100,000 pop-ups and retractions without any damage. Other sensors and components such as the receiver earpiece and ambient light sensor have been moved to the top and bottom of the screen respectively, effectively removing bezels and notches on the screen.

It also comes with Android 9 operating system plus EMUI 9.0, Hisilicon Kirin 710F processor, 64GB internal storage, and 4GB RAM. It comes with rear triple cameras (16 Megapixels + 8 Megapixels + 2 Megapixels) and a large 4000 mAh battery.

The new device falls in the Y series family following previous launches of Huawei Y9 2019, Y7 Prime 2019, Y6 Prime 2019, Y5 Prime 2019 respectively in Kenya.
