Capital FM has announced that its music extravaganza, The Koroga Festival, has moved to Tatu City and will take place on 6-7 July. The festival will be headlined by Nigerian music star Femi Kuti.
Koroga Festival is a celebration of African music, food, art and fashion. It features music from Kenyan and African musicians.
At Tatu City, Koroga fans will find a Food Court, Flea Market, Kiddie Area and other entertainment. The Kiddie Area features an Edutainment Zone for children to learn and play.
Capital Group Chairman Chris Kirubi welcomed the partnership with Tatu City, which will broaden the experience of the festival as well as showcase life at Tatu City. “We are proud of the work Tatu City have done, and we embrace and support your vision of bringing development to the area,” said Kirubi.
On Saturday 6 July, Day 1 of the festival will feature up-and-coming Kenyan artists. On Sunday 7 July, Day 2 is a family event with activities for all and a line-up of top artists from across the continent. Throughout the day, Koroga fans can catch a Tatu City bus for a tour of all the amenities, homes and businesses at the 5,000-acre new city development. Located just off the Thika Super Highway and junction of the Northern & Easter Bypasses, Tatu City has multiple access points for Koroga fans.
