GOtv has increased the prices of its two monthly bouquets in Kenya effective 15th May 2016 as part of its annual price increase. The particular bouquets affected are GOtv Value and GOtv Plus and below are the new and old prices.

[Update: August 2016 GOtv reduces its prices and adds channels in Kenya]
GOtv claim to have communicated the price changes to all customers via text on 15th April 2016. Some customers received the text on 14th May 2016. Other customers didn’t and only found out after reaching out to GOtv customer care after they had paid the old rates and the GOtv service hadn’t reconnected.

The GOtv Lite bouqet price remains unchanged at Ksh. 555 every three months, Ksh. 1,110 every 6 months or Ksh. 2,220 a year.
GOtv last year killed their free to air option and rebranded it to GOtv Lite without communicating to their customers. With this change, at least they communicated to some customers but they didn’t get them enough notice.

GOtv have made a u-turn on the increment and reduced their prices.
