Car and General – Kenya has this week donated over 40 engines to twenty one technical training institutions from across Kenya during the annual engine donation program at the company headquarters. The program was launched due to a need for proper education and training of technical students in the country, giving them the much needed experience.

The donation is expected to give over five hundred technical students from the technical institutions the much needed knowledge. They stand to benefit from a different perspective which is the views of mechanical engineers, their trade secrets and many other job experiences that they could not learn in school.

The company also takes in a few students and trains them for several months by putting them to work by assisting and observing during repairs and maintenance of engines with a view of giving them the much needed work experience.
