Samsung has today launched the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 smartphones in the Kenya. The two are mid-range devices that are 4G enabled. Their launch comes in the wake of the success of the Galaxy J1 in the Kenyan market.
The J5 runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) operating system and comes with a 5 inch screen, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal memory and a 13 Megapixel front camera. The J7 also runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) operating system and comes with a 5.5 inch screen, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and a 13 Megapixel camera.
One key feature in the two phones is an LED flash in the front camera. This means that the front camera, which is 5 Megapixels, will be able to take selfies even at night. The two phones are also Dual SIM. The two phones also come preloaded with Microsoft Apps like One Note, One drive and Smart Manager.
The J5 is retailing at Kshs. 22,000 and the J7 at Kshs. 27,000. Both are currently available at Samsung Brand stores and Samsung dealer Shops country wide.
