Wairimu Nyoike
Wairimu Nyoike is a 20 year old Kenyan musician. She has been a musician for two years, as a freelance pianist for various Kenyan bands including the Yellow Light Machine. She also works as a piano and voice tutor for children.
She has released her first song ‘Sitaki’ which was inspired by a personal experience. She describes the experience as ‘A relationship that was a “situationship” where despite the constant drama, disappointment, games, and non-seriousness, he’d captured my heart in the palm of his hand and escaping the situation was a serious battle between my rational and emotion’.
