The President of Microsoft International, Jean-Philippe Courtois, shall be at the iHub on Tuesday the 4th of June from 4.15pm to 5.45pm to speak to developers, students and bloggers on Microsoft’s plans to grow the developer ecosystem and its various partnerships.

Jean-Philippe has been in Microsoft for 27 years after joining the French subsidiary in 1984 and going on to lead the business, before moving to an EMEA role and now a global role. He is among the 25-50 longest serving employees in the company and that has given him a unique perspective on how the company and the technology industry has evolved, and what are the key trends that will impact business and society in the future.

He leads global sales, marketing and services for Microsoft International, a territory that spans 100+ subsidiaries operating in 240+ countries outside the United States and Canada. As president of Microsoft International, Courtois drives strategic planning, global operations and key growth initiatives in developed and emerging markets.

Jean-Philippe Courtois is also a director of PlaNet Finance and Microsoft’s representative at the Institut Montaigne. He has served as co-chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Digital Divide Initiative Task Force.
