Oracle recently showcased its latest Cloud led digital solutions to top business and government leaders at the International Modern Business event in Nairobi.

Oracle recently announced plans to launch 20 new Oracle Cloud regions by the end of 2020, for a total of 36 Oracle Cloud Infrastructure regions. South Africa will host one of these cloud regions to support seamless cloud transition for customers across the African continent. Oracle has also recently unveiled the world’s first Autonomous Operating System; AI Voice for the enterprise and the world’s fastest database machine.
Oracle Cloud offers a suite of integrated applications for Sales, Service, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing, plus Highly Automated and Secure Generation 2 Infrastructure featuring the Oracle Autonomous Database.
Oracle joins Cloud providers in Kenya and the continent that include Microsoft Cloud, Liquid Telecom, MTN, Amazon Web Services, Safaricom Cloud Services and Node Africa. Microsoft and Amazon both have data centres in Africa, located in South Africa. Safaricom Cloud Services, MTN and LIquid Telecom have data centres in Kenya.
