Phone manufacturer is set to launch the Infinix Hot 8 in Kenya. The phone is a successor to the Infinix Hot 7, which was launched in Kenya in March 2019. The phone was launched globally in early September and is already available in India.
YThe phone will apparently ship with Android Pie 9.0. Other features of the phone include a 6.52 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 4GB RAM, Dual 4G VoLTE, Dual SIM, Triple camera setup with 13MP + 2MP depth sensor + dedicated low light sensor and phase detection autofocus + LED flash. The phone will also comes with a large 5000 mAh battery. It will apparently come with the following colours; Quetzal Cyan, Midnight Black, and Cosmic Purple.
Being an entry level smartphone, it is rumoured that it will sell at a retail price of between Ksh 9,000 – Ksh 11,000.
