Hospitality management company Aleph Hospitality plans to open a Best Western Plus in Westlands mid this year. This will be the second such branded hotel in Kenya after Best Western Plus Meridian (formerly Meridian Hotel) in the Nairobi CBD.

The Best Western Plus Nairobi Westlands will feature 100 guest rooms, a gym, a dedicated meetings floor and two food and beverage outlets, including a rooftop bar.

Aleph Hospitality is planning two new hotels in Kenya, one in Mombasa and another at the Jomo International Airport (JKIA). The two hotels are yet to be named.

The Mombasa one is still under construction and is located in the Nyali area. It will feature 106 guest rooms along with events and leisure facilities, including a pool, rooftop bar and ballroom. The airport hotel at JKIA is also under construction. It will have 350 guest rooms, two food and beverage outlets and extensive events space including meeting rooms and a ballroom. Leisure facilities will include a fully-equipped gym, an outdoor pool and a spa.
