Huawei has launched two entry level smartphones, the Huawei Y5C and Huawei Y360, in the Kenyan market in order to boost its market share.
The Huawei Y360 runs on Android KitKat (version 4.4.4). It comes with a 4 inch touchscreen, 5 Megapixel back camera, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal storage. It also comes with a 1730mAh removable battery.
The Huawei Y5C runs on the Android KitKat (version 4.4.4) operating system. It comes with a 4.5 touchscreen, 8 Megapixel back camera, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. It is a dual SIM phone and also comes with a 1730mAh removable battery.
The Y360 is retailing at Ksh. 5,499 (and comes with 500 MB free Safaricom data) and the Y5C is retailing at Ksh 9,899. Both phone are available at all authorized Safaricom retail shops and Safaricom authorized dealerscountrywide.
