Twitter was launched in 2006 and to celebrate 8 years of their awesome existence, they have launched a service that let’s Twitter users see their very first Tweets.
I tinkered with it a bit, feeding Twitter handles of Kenyan Twitter OG’s in it, and it turns out that the Kenyan Twitter community aka Kenyans on Twitter (#KOT) was born around 2007/2008.
Below are some of the first Kenyans to join Twitter and their first Tweets.
