Mosaic Ltd, Galleria.
The one place we find comfort and call our safe haven is our homes. We treasure the space, decor and every piece of furniture in it. That’s why we find a way to keep our homes updated and fresh with the things we love. It was only natural then, that I was excited to get a chance to go to Mosaic Ltd: a lovely store located inside Galleria mall, that provides accessories and gifts for the home.
Having been open for the past two years, their merchandise is of a wide variety. They have lanterns, mirrors, vases, frames and art pieces just to name a few. In Kenya, there are many stores that offer home decor products but Mosaic Ltd gives us carefully picked goods that are truly one of a kind.
The products are made from unique material such as Chinese stone. One would then think that they would not be cheap but that would be the wrong assumption. Even though they travel around the world to pick the pieces they sell, one finds they cater to everyone’s pocket. Costs run from as little as Kshs 200 and all are worth it.
As much as they had a lot of unique things, what caught my attention the most (actually everything caught my attention), was paint by numbers. In my mind, I’m Picasso with a paint brush but in reality well, it’s a different story. Mosaic Ltd offers one a chance to get in touch with their inner Picasso through this product. A canvas with numbers on it comes with paint brushes and the proper paint for the painting. One is to match the numbers on the canvas to the numbers on the paint and in the end you have a beautiful master piece.
The fun thing about this product, is that it’s for the young and old, so why not grab one and get to painting?
