Huawei this morning officially launched the Huawei Ascend P6 in Kenya at the I&M Safaricom Shop in Nairobi. The Ascend P6 comes with a 4.7 inch screen, an 8 Megapixel camera and with the Jelly bean Android Operating system (4.2.2).
The Huawei Ascend P6 will be available exclusively at Safaricom shops countrywide. The Huawei P6 will retail at an introductory offer of Shs. 39,999 and a 1.5GB internet bundle for the first 400 handsets. Afterwards, it will be available for Kshs. 41,999.
Huawei’s Chief Executive Officer, Wind Li and Safaricom’s Head of Retail Sales, Janet Atika had this to say at the launch:
