Whether you are a seasoned cocktail lover or a curious newcomer, today is the perfect day to explore the world of cocktails and of course try and make one yourself.

Here are 4 gin cocktails that you can easily make at home.

1. Gin and Tonic

Ingredients

  • Gilbeys Gin 60 ml
  • Tonic water 120-180 ml
  • 1 wedge of lime
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: additional lime slices or cucumber slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour the gin over the ice.
  • Top up with tonic water, stirring gently to combine.
  • Squeeze the lime wedge over the drink and drop it into the glass.
  • Optionally, garnish with additional lime slices or cucumber slices.
  • Give it a final gentle stir and enjoy your Gin and Tonic

2. Pinky

Ingredients

  • Gilbeys Pink Gin – 60 ml
  • Tamarind juice – 30ml
  • Tonic water 120-180 ml.
  • Ice Cubes

Instructions

  • Add a few ice cubes to your glass
  • Pour the Pink gin over the ice.
  • Top up with 120-180 ml. tonic water.
  • Add 30 ml Tamarind Juice
  • Stir gently to combine and enjoy your Pinky Gin

3. Sex in the air

Ingredients

  • Gilbeys Gin 60ml
  • Assorted Fruit
  • Lime juice 15 ml
  • Tonic water 120-180 ml

Instructions

  • Add a few ice cubes to your glass.
  • Add Gilbeys gin over the ice.
  • Top up with lime juice and stir gently to combine.
  • Garnish with assorted strawberries or any other berries of your choice.
  • Add 120-180ml of tonic water.
  • Give it a final gentle stir and enjoy your Sex on the Air

4. Elephant in the room

Ingredients

  • Gilbeys Gin 60 ml
  • Lime 30 ml
  • Hibiscus syrup 30 ml
  • Top up soda water

Instructions

  • Add a few Ice cubes to your glass.
  • Pour the Gilbeys gin over the ice.
  • Top up with Hibiscus syrup, stirring gently to combine.
  • Add soda water to the glass.
  • Give it a final gentle stir and enjoy your Elephant in the Room
