HMD Global launched the Nokia C21 Plus in the Kenyan market in July 2022. This was after they had launched the Nokia C21 in April.

The Nokia C21 Plus is available in two colours i.e. Dark Blue and Warm Grey. The one available in this market is the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage variant which is retailing at Ksh. 15,500.

The Safety guide has a Swahili version which is a nice localization touch, a feature which carries over to the phone which a user can also set up in Swahili.

The Nokia C21 Plus is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A chipset, with an octa-core CPU that has two sets of Cotex-A55 processors. One set of four is the 1.6GHz variant while the remaining 4 max out at 1.2GHz.

It comes with a 6.49-inch screen with a 720 by 1600 pixels resolution and a 82 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It has a 20:9 ratio which translates to 269 pixels per inch density.

It comes with a dual camera setup i.e., 13 Megapixel (wide) and 2 Megapixel (depth), coupled with a 5 MP selfie camera. It comes with 64 GB internal storage, 3 GB RAM and run on the Android 11 (Go edition) operating system.

We unboxed the Nokia C21 Plus and below are our first impressions
