Olx is one of the leading ecommerce sites in Kenya. With people selling a wide range of items, from furniture to cars, we decide to look at some of the alcohol related items you can buy on the site. Or rather, such items as are being sold by users of the platform. What we found was rather interesting.
1. Beer crates
One of the cheapest ways to buy beer is from a retailer and this works best if you have your own bottles. Guess one of the places you can buy a crate of empty bottles? or, just an empty crate if you’re looking for one.
2. Keg beer pump
If you’re looking to be the cool pary host. Why not have your own beer pump so all you have to do is buy keg containers.
3. Beer mugs and glasses
Yes, these too are also available on the site.
4. A whole beer depot
Why buys just a crate when you can have the whole depot.
5. Alcoblow
Why wait for the cops to test you? I’m thinking this could be an awesome accessory for your night out. Just put it in you bag or whatever and keep testing yourself as you drink to make sure you stay below the allowed limit 🙂
5. A wines and spirits shop
Just in case you’re looking to get into the business.
6. An assortment of wine
As expected.
7. Openers
Openers are vital if you’re looking to buy some wine, spirits or beers.
8. Whiskey flasks
One of the things you could give someone as a gift.

As you can see from the list and the dates on the images, there aren’t many alcohol related items sold on the platform. This is something that can be changed. So, what are you selling?
