Globetrack has achieved a historic milestone by securing three major accolades at the AMEC Awards 2025 in London. This marks the first time an African company has won at the awards in their 23-year history.

The company was recognized for its strategic, data-insight-led work across key public sector campaigns, alongside a prestigious individual honour for its leader.

Globetrack stood out as the only African and Kenyan company celebrated at the 2025 AMEC Awards, earning awards across three competitive categories:

1. Driving Behavioural Change: The NACADA Partnership

Globetrack won for its foundational collaboration with the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA). The project focused on transforming the fight against substance abuse through evidence-based communication.

“Together with NACADA, we set out to do things differently, to measure not just activity, but impact,” said Esther Kagiri, Founder and Managing Director of Globetrack. “We mapped the measurement journey, set baselines, and used insights to guide improvement in their mandate to curb alcohol and drug abuse.”

The initiative established a compelling measurement narrative for NACADA, enabling meaningful tracking of behavioural and perceptual change, a critical step toward understanding the effectiveness of public health campaigns in Kenya.

2. Actionable Insights: The KCAA Success Story

In the category “Most Impactful Client Recommendations Arising from a Measurement Study,” Globetrack was honoured for transforming data into tangible, outcome-driven strategies for the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA).

A standout recommendation from the study was the launch of a post-certification compliance mentorship program for new Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs). This advice directly addressed media gaps and growing public conversations around aviation safety, licensing, and airworthiness.

“Our recommendations went beyond generic insights,” explained Ms. Kagiri. “They were business-aligned and outcome-driven. For KCAA, that meant connecting communication to its core mission of aviation safety and compliance, proving that strategic measurement can directly support operational success.”

3. Executive Professional of the Year: Esther Kagiri

The firm’s founder, Ms. Esther Kagiri, was named the AMEC Executive Professional of the Year. This is a highly prestigious global honour recognizing her leadership and contribution to advancing communication measurement standards worldwide.

Ms. Kagiri is the first African woman to serve on the AMEC Board and the first African ever to win this coveted award.

Globetrack has now earned recognition for three consecutive years (2023, 2024, and 2025). It has been recognized for work with government and institutional clients including NACADA, KCAA, Kenya Human Rights Commission, Association of Kenya Insurers, and Kenya Revenue Authority.
