About Koroga

“Koroga is another African story, a story of what we see and how we see, of meetings and transformations, of looking and seeing, of seeing and writing, of speaking into being the worlds we know, and those we are always imagining.” (Keguro Macharia)

Koroga brings together Kenyan poets and photographers to create new stories. By stirring elements from different artistic disciplines together, the Wakorogi create a new experience that reflects on their identities as individuals, their backgrounds (local and global), provides social commentary and encourages the spread of ideas in various artistic spaces.
