This week Thursday Nite Live will feature one of Kenya’s Afro Pop divas of song, DELA.
Adeline Maranga better known by her stage name DELA is a reknowned Afro Soul Artist whose performances and vocal prowess has been compared to the likes of Chrisette Michel and Alicia Keys. She began her professional career in 2008 with her debut on the big stage collaborating with Kenya’s most famous Afro Pop Boy Band Sauti Sol on the single “Mama Papa” . Her album on the Penya label Paukwa Paukwa with hit singles Weche Tek, Ulivyo and War in My Heart launched her to mainstream fame winning her legions of fans. Her participation on Coke Studio Africa’s Season One has only pushed her brand to further heights.
